The National Establishment for Agricultural and Industrial Sulphur (NEAIS) in Saudi Arabia pioneered sulphur/bentonite manufacturing technology through the development of Brimstone90.
NEAIS operate a strategically -placed plant in the Middle East. The location of the plant, close to the oil refinery, plays a key and significant role in the continued supply of Brimstone 90 at a competitive price.
Freight costs out of the Arabian Gulf are relatively inexpensive because many containerised cargoes are discharged in the area, but box owners have few opportunities to fill containers leaving the region. Thus, Brimstone 90 can be shipped out of Saudi Arabia at advantageous rates.
